FAF FARBWERTE

With FAF FARBWERTE you could experience a very special material exhibition at the FAF - FARBE, AUSBAU & FASSADE. The special area focused on the attitude, durability and sustainability of colour. Many other socially and culturally relevant values that we express through colour design also played a role. The visitors were inspired and absorbed forward-looking impulses!

THE CONCEPT

FAF - FARBE, AUSBAU & FASSADE collaborated with the International Trendscouting Institute (IIT) of the University of Applied Arts (HAWK) Hildesheim for the special FAF FARBWERTE area.

The institute analysed megatrends and their influence on how we live, act, create, live and design and thus identified 15 colour tones for the trade fair, which serve as the basis for formulating and designing possible future models with depth and atmosphere. This contemporary palette of colour tones is also called FAF FARBWERTE Design Futures.

The composition of the colour palette enables the design of sustainable and at the same time sensually tangible and functional surfaces and interiors. FAF FARBWERTE shows the multifaceted use of these selected colour nuances.

The following five relevant and topical themes were identified, which describe the essential functions and activities of life in the interior:

  • Essential work
  • Sensual recreation
  • Sustainable design
  • Virtual play space
  • Public life
