We - Meffert AG Farbwerke - develop and produce high-quality architectural paints and varnishes. Our story began in 1947 with the opening of a paint store in the center of Bad Kreuznach. A lot has happened since then: In the course of its now 75-year history, our company has developed into one of the leading manufacturers in the German paint and coatings industry.
We have a total of seven production sites in Germany. We also have five sites abroad. Our group of companies is active in Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Hungary and Italy. Four international distribution centers also look after our customers in the respective foreign markets.
With over 1,500 employees, Meffert AG Farbwerke has continuously developed into one of Europe's most efficient manufacturers of paints, coatings, plasters and sealants. The decades of sustained growth are also reflected in the steadily increasing tonnages of our production.

Klaus Meffert and his cousin Dieter Meffert, who jointly manage the independent family business, deliberately focus on Germany as a location. Production for the domestic and international markets takes place here.
We have developed and strengthened our position as a full-range supplier by integrating other traditional companies from the paint and building protection industry into the group. Our high-quality product range now comprises more than 30,000 articles. Extensive experience and an efficient research and development department ensure that all our products are at the cutting edge of technology.
Bio Pin Holding AG & Co. KG. is now also part of the group of companies
On January 1, 2022, Meffert AG Farbwerke acquired a majority stake in Bio Pin Holding AG & Co. KG. Founded in 1983 and based in Jever, the company has grown continuously in recent years and is now one of the top 10 manufacturers of natural paints in Europe.
Managing Director Klaus Meffert comments: "Natural paints are an important future market with a constantly growing demand. We want to reach this market with ecologically sustainable products."
