Next FAF in Cologne from 20 to 23 April 2027

Tangible prospects for the industry: GHM continues to organise FAF trade fair until 2039. Last year's successful FAF FARBE, AUSBAU & FASSADE (FAF) reflected this trade fair‘s high level of acceptance.

The next FAF takes place in 2027; GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen will organise the next five FAF trade fairs every three years. Munich, 15 January 2025 – Last year's successful FAF FARBE, AUSBAU & FASSADE (FAF) reflected this trade fair‘s high level of acceptance. Intensive dialogue with the market and the sponsoring associations (Bundesverband Farbe Gestaltung Bautenschutz and Bundesverband Ausbau und Fassade) – both at FAF and afterwards – confirmed the industry's strong desire to stick with the established three-year cycle.

In order to meet this demand from market participants, GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen mbH, as the organiser and host of FAF, is adjusting the date for the next FAF to 2027 in consultation with the sponsoring associations.

The advantages: By adjusting the trade fair dates, GHM is responding to market demand, ensuring transparency and creating planning security through early communication. The traditional three-year cycle of FAF remains unchanged:

The next FAF will take place from Tuesday, 20, to Friday, 23 April 2027 in Cologne.

This is the date on which both, the sponsoring organisations and GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen mbH agreed upon.

Even more planning security for the industry: Today, the two sponsoring associations and GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen mbH signed in Munich the contract for the continued organisation of FAF by GHM, which has been responsible for this trade fair for more than 40 years. Accordingly, GHM has been commissioned with the conception, organisation and implementation of the next five FAF trade fairs for the long term. This gives the industry the greatest possible planning security until 2039.

FAF is the leading trade fair for façade and interior architecture. It moderates between the networking trades of the creative finishing sector. The painting and stucco plastering trades are represented in particular. In addition, the new FAF also addresses neighbouring trades, such as interior decorators and floor layers, as well as architects and planners.
